St Patrick’s College Principal James Corcoran congratulated Year 12 on their results, noting they also met the challenge of learning through COVID lockdowns in their first two, formative years of high school.
“What has impressed us most about the Class of 2024 was their remarkable compatibility and admirable commitment to achieve excellence together,” he said.
“We are very pleased with the workplace and training achievements, HSC results and ATARS of the Class of 2024.
“Concentration on St Pat’s learners being ‘Motivated, Independent & Persistent’ has seen enhancements in learning outcomes for our HSC students with a focussed targeting of literacy and numeracy skills across the whole school.
“The staff at the College would also like to recognise the absolutely foundational work that these students’ primary school educators have done in developing their social, emotional, literacy and numeracy skills in their 13-year educational journey.
“We work with these young people with the pronounced advantage of their primary education.”
