Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate their Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.
The spiritual formation of our students is always of great importance to us at St Patrick’s College Sutherland. To enhance the formation of Spirituality, Prayer and the Sacramental life of the College; many opportunities are created for our students to lead and participate in a variety of liturgical celebrations.
Belonging to our community is an important part of spiritual formation and our students take part in parish masses, monthly adoration, prayer groups and reflection days. Students also contribute to youth events throughout the year, with Sydney Catholic Schools like Evangelisation days and Archbishop’s forums.
Senior students are afforded the experience of the Year 12 retreat. This is a significant tradition for our Year 12, students, as they immerse themselves in reflection, prayer and solitude to build personal strength in community and faith.
